Liwen Tao, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Tao has been a practicing endodontist since 1989, and is proud of providing modern, high-quality root canal therapy in a friendly, soothing and comfortable environment. Originally from China, she received her Master of Science Degree (M.S.) in oral biology as well as trained for her endodontic specialty at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Tao has been listed in the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities as well as the Who's Who of Female Business Executives. She is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, The Florida Association of Endodontics, the Florida Dental Association, the Upper Pinellas County Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association. In addition Dr. Tao has extremely active in dental research. She has published over 50 articles in the world's leading dental journals and has made numerous national and international presentations. Locally, Dr. Tao provides charitable dental work for the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch, the Homeless Facility of Clearwater and the Gulf Coast Outreach Program for the Poor.
Married with two children, Dr. Tao enjoys preparing Asian cuisines and playing tennis in her spare time. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
