Born in Peru, Dr. Miguel Saravia graduated from the Peruvian University of Cayetano Heredia School of Dentistry in Lima Peru in 2000. He worked in private practice in Lima while also serving as an Assistant Professor at the dental school. Dr. Saravia moved to the United States in 2003 to attend Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. After working for a year in general dentistry, Dr. Saravia pursued his endodontic specialty program in 2008 at the University of Southern California. Dr. Saravia has done some significant dental research in both Peru and the United States. Prior to moving to Florida Dr. Saravia worked in Texas. He has been a practicing Endodontist for nine years.
Dr. Saravia is a member in good standing with the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Upper Pinellas Dental Association, Texas Dental Society, Latinos for Dental Careers and the Peruvian American Dental Association.
Dr. Saravia routinely takes continuing education courses to keep informed of the latest developments in dentistry. He enjoys traveling, reading, attending sporting events and visiting his family in Peru. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
